drove 45 mins to check out yamari bc i saw a reel saying they have the best matcha and it's true!! located inside mitsuwa marketplace, the soft serve is 10/10!!! the flavor is super strong and lasting plus the matcha drizzle is a nice touch for a matcha lover. the matcha latte is good, the size is a bit small for a regular tho. i had the soft serve first and it was so strong that i couldn't really taste the drink as is lol my new fav place for matcha!

LOVEEEEE YAMARI has to be my #1 matcha spot in torrance and maybe in all of la honestly, you can tell that this place focuses on matcha and only matcha it is so rich and strong and sweetened perfectly (with half sweetness for me) the matcha soft serve is also incredible, second only to a matcha soft serve i had in japan but it's very good the hojicha comes unsweetened but you can get sweetener (cane syrup i believe) on the side and you can adjust to your taste. the hojicha is also great i just prefer the matcha bc it's just that good

Locations: inside the Mitsuwa, which is at the del amo mall Parking: parking lot and mall structure parking Seating: general seating at the food court Menu: so much matcha! Parfait, drinks, soft serve, etc. I got the swirl matcha and vanilla soft serve. It came with a little matcha drizzle and a dark chocolate square. Really enjoyed all of it. The texture was so smooth and creamy. The matcha is strong and the vanilla is fragrant. It's a good combo, especially if you want the best of both worlds. The dark chocolate is also wonderful. I like that there wasn't too much drizzle. Total $6.50. Also, I was able to taste the flavors before deciding. Paid with card. Overall: great dessert. I needed this today with it being so hot. They were def popular as the line grew as soon as I arrived!

I usually don't believe in paying for a matcha drink because you usually can make it better at home 90% of the time. But this matcha latte?!?!? She's perfect!! I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk (sweetened). It had the perfect ratio of matcha, milk, and sweetener. It was not too sweet and well balanced. Service was so fast that the girl working on drinks passed my drink to me after I finished ordering. I didn't even have to sit and wait for my order!! * This shop is located inside the Mitsuwa food court!

One of the only teahouses who actually focuses on the tea and not the cream or sugar. We ordered the iced hojicha and matcha lattes with sweetener on the side (in size Medium). If you're used to plain tea, try it without sweetener first and you might find you prefer it that way since the leaves are fresh and prepared well. The hojicha was deeply roasted with a smooth, nutty flavor. It's very rich and, when mixed with the milk, was quite balanced although still intense. The matcha was a bright green color and umami. Tea-forward, can tell from first sip that they're serious about sourcing and preparation. I prefer the hojicha without sweetener, but the matcha with a bit. "Not too sweet!" Summary: Well worth my $13 to get an understanding of how matcha and hojicha teas should taste from a tea house. This motivated me to learn how to make it myself!

Wow! Such a good matcha latte. I got the einspanner matcha latte and it was perfect! I like my matchas a little sweet so the cream too added the perfect amount of sweetness. The matcha was really fresh and had great flavor. I would definitely recommend this drink if you like your matcha a little sweeter

If you're a matcha lover, I'd definitely recommend trying this place out! It's located in the mitsuwa food court by the Del amo mall so there's plenty of parking and seating available! Since it's in a food court it can get pretty crowded and noisy. The matcha here is INTENSE with that slightly bitter and earthly flavor! Definitely not for those who like a subtle matcha flavor. The ice cream was rich and creamy, it was a nice sweet treat. I only tried the matcha soft serve but they offered drinks and parfaits too! The items felt a bit pricy since the portions are a bit on the smaller side, but you're definitely paying for the high quality matcha here.

First time at Yamari and the matcha flavor was intense, very forward, and not subtle at all in a good way! If you're looking for a deep rich matcha forward flavor then this is the place to go. The matcha float had much more matcha soft serve than any other matcha float I've gotten at any other matcha shop. The einspanner was actually much sweeter than the float in case you are looking for something more sweet. The store is located in the food court area of the Mitsuwa so it can get quite busy but we came during a weekday which was not too busy. We will definitely back to try there other matcha items and likely buy some matcha powder.

Hands down best matcha & hojicha soft serve ever. I hope this place never closes because I don't think I'd ever recover. This is probably as close to the taste of matcha in Japan as you can get in the US. Their matcha is unmatched because they use a large amount of good quality, fresh matcha from Uji for all of their desserts/drinks. It's the perfect balance of umami and earthy goodness. Typically I get the half matcha and half hojicha soft serve to share with one other person but today I got the matcha latte float which was incredible. They now have soy and oat options for their lattes and they whisk the matcha fresh to pour atop the milk, ice and ice cream. 100/10 could not have asked for anything more. Service here is also too notch, there's never any wait and the people that work here are always nice. This is the only location in the US but can't wait for them to expand to OC so I don't have to drive 1+ hour here.
